FDA Awards Contract to TConneX

September 2011

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), through its Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), awarded a contract to TConneX for the provision of statistical programming and analysis support. TConneX analytical personnel will assist the Principal Investigators (PIs), and supporting FDA scientific staff, to analyze results from sponsored clinical trials.

Ginnie Mae awards TConneX a Three Year Contract

June 2011

The Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA), or Ginnie Mae, awarded a three year contract to TConneX, for outsourced Vital Records and Imaging Services. TConneX will be providing document imaging and management services, as well as cloud computing-based records management, to support Ginnie Mae's Vital Records retention program. This outsourced service will allow Ginnie Mae to address their Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) as defined by Federal law and directives from OMB, NARA and NIST.

Howard Stern joins TConneX as Director of Business Development

April 2011

Howard Stern has joined TConneX to lead the Business Development and Capture Management functions. "His prior experience in growing revenues and winning contract placements at a number of companies, coupled with the strategic consulting work he has done with 8(a) companies, will be of great assistance to TConneX as we look towards the future" said Larry Liu, President and CEO.

Mr. Stern added "TConneX has excellent past performance within the Federal marketplace. I'm looking forward to helping them build the client base, as well as the infrastructure, for continued growth and then successful graduation from the 8(a) program".

Management Team

The TConneX management team, with over 30 combined years of experience in the government IT services market, has the knowledge and experience to develop effective technology solutions, foster a climate of creativity and collaboration, and maintain excellent client partnerships.

Larry Liu

President and CEO

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Liu is responsible for the strategic direction of TConneX as well as managing its growth. He is a hands-on IT professional with twenty years of significant, progressive experience in project management and information-technology consulting. Prior to founding TConneX, Mr. Liu held senior software engineering and architecture positions at high technology companies, including IBM, AT&T and MCI/UUNet.

Mr. Liu received a BS in Mathematics, an MS in Computer Science and an MBA. He is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), an Oracle Certified Professional and a Professional Member of AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management).

Howard Stern

Director, Business Development

Mr. Stern leads business development, sales and marketing activities for TConneX. He has over twenty years of successful business development and capture management experience in the Public Sector marketplace. Prior to joining TConneX, Mr. Stern held senior positions at LCG Systems, Aquilent, Reliable Integration Services and Sterling Commerce, as well as leading the strategic consulting practices at McConnell International and FedSources.

Mr. Stern received an MBA from Seton Hall University and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Rochester. He is recognized by HIMSS as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS). Mr. Stern was a Federal 100 award recipient for his leadership efforts in moving the Federal government towards e-government.
